Wow... over the last 12 months so many things have happened here at Christ Temple Church. God has brought new people into the Kingdom right in our midst, He has sent us new ministries, great moves of revival, and a reaffirmation that He, our God, is in control of our lives and our destiny. Some times we focus too much time on where we have been, or where we are currently; while overlooking where God is taking us. It is very clear here at Christ Temple Church that God Himself has taken time to design and plan our future!
God is taking us to greater levels. He is developing in us a deep love for the Word of God. He is bringing us to a dedicated place of heightened worship. He is giving us a love for both our local community and for the mission field. So just where is God taking us? God is taking us to "exactly where He wants us to be." As the Children of Israel left Egyptian bondage they were taken, not just to, but though the Red Sea; and prior to the Promised Land were led through the wilderness. However, by the time they reached the Promised Land they were no longer concerned with the struggle to get there; but basked in the glory of God's destination.
Where we are going is where God desires us to be; therefore we must not be concerned with the process of each day but more importantly have our eyes clearly focused on the destination.
